X-COUNTRY RUNNING

The boys and girls cross-country teams made school history over the weekend during the ASAA state cross-country championships!  For the first time ever at Chugiak, the boys AND girls swept the team titles. The last time a Division 1 team had accomplished such a feat was in 1996, when Colony pulled off the team titles for their boys and girls. Our girls were the favored winners, taking home their fourth straight title. The boys, however, had to dig deep, surpassing both South Anchorage and Juneau-Douglas, who were the favorites for the title. Way to go, Mustangs! You’ve proven what it means to have pony power!
