 This class will focus on the social, cultural, and global economic issues related to the United States in the 20th century.

World Geography
This class will focus on the geography of the world. Students will begin with the geography of Alaska and move around the world, region by region. There will also be a short unit about the ancient civilization of Mesopotamia.
 Topics include:
 1st quarter-- North America (introduced with a unit focusing specifically on Alaska's geography)
 2nd quarter--South America, Europe, and the ancient civilization of Mesopotamia
 3rd quarter--Middle East, Africa, Oceania, and Antarctica
 4th quarter--Asia

United States History
 This class is a study of United States history from the 1400's to 1861.
 Topics include:
 Three Worlds Meet (1400s - 1620)
 Colonization and Settlement (1585-1763)
 Revolution and New Nation (1754-1801)
 Civics (Constitution and U.S. Government)
 Expansion and Reform (1801-1861)
