CultureGrams goes beyond basic facts and figures on more than 200 countries, with up-to-date reports detailing daily life and culture, history, customs and lifestyle from an insider's perspective.

Alaska Medical Library created Teen Health Resources for Alaska teens and the adults in their lives.

BrainPOP offers over 1000 short, animated educational videos across a wide variety of topics, all of which are accompanied by interactive quizzes, activities, and games. The content is intended for students in grades 3-12 and covers material in ELA, math, science, social studies, health, art, and technology. There is also a BrainPOP Spanish version.

The Digital Public Library of America provides photographs, books, maps, news footage, oral histories, personal letters, museum objects, artwork, government documents--shared by America’s libraries, archives, museums, and other cultural heritage institutions--all free and immediately available in digital format. Of note: many primary source sets are available on this website.


LearningExpress offers comprehensive academic and career-related resources. It is an exceptional resource for test prep, and includes study guides and practice tests for the SAT, ACT, ASVAB, and AP subject area exams.
