Begich Middle School has additional health services available through Anchorage School Based Health Centers (ASBHCs). These optional services are administered through a partnership with the Anchorage School District (ASD) and ASBHC to provide medical care AT school to keep students healthy and IN school. PARENT CONSENT IS REQUIRED BEFORE ANY SERVICES ARE PROVIDED.
Services available include comprehensive and age appropriate care similar to what is provided in a pediatric or family medicine office, such as

Acute illness and infection

Injury assessment, treatment, and/or referral

Behavioral health services are available for a limited number of students when referred
by a medical provider or school staff
