Dimond High School offers a rigorous set of honors and advanced placement (AP) courses for students seeking to challenge themselves and earn college credit while in high school.
For details on requirements for honors courses and application procedures, contact your student's counselor.
The Advanced Placement (AP) program allows students to take college-level courses in high school. Students earning passing scores on AP Exams in the spring may be eligible for college credit (varies by university) or waived course requirements. Dimond offers many AP courses and students take the exams, administered by the College Board, in May.
