You should vote for me because I am hard/working, very organized and want to make Dimond a better place. I have been apart of NJHS and Student Council for several years and I have enjoyed it. As President I want to make sure all of your voices are heard. High school is not just only about grades it’s also about joining new clubs and sports. I have been in partners club, NJHS, Student advisory board, softball, bowling and several more. My interesting fact is that I am a softball pitcher.
Tyana Jackson
Hi my name is Tyana, and I’m here today to share why I believe I'd make an excellent Student President. My goals are for students to be able to vote and recommend themes for spirit week and events. I want to genuinely know what the students are interested in doing. As running for Student President, I see it as my responsibility to make sure everyone’s voice and thoughts are valued. Growing up, I've always had a big heart, it hurts me to see people feel left out and bullied. I always try my best to help someone in need. The one thing that I'll always remember that I've been told is “Treat others how you want to be treated”.

Hannah Veltkamp
Hi, My name is Hannah Veltkamp and I am running for Vice President of the freshmen Class. I have always been interested in being a leader and helping my classmates succeed. I am driven and the kind of person to ask if you need help with a problem. I also have experience in student government, I was in SAB last year and was the president of the National Junior Honor Society. I believe in the future for this school and everyone who attends it. Have a great day Lynx, and remember a vote for me is a vote for we.
