We are planning school calendars for the following three years:

• 2026–2027
  
• 2027–2028
  
• 2028–2029

We have two options for each year:

Before you start, here are some things to know:
 
Educators have asked to come back to school the week before students so they have more time to get ready. 
 
In years when there are state elections, students will not have school on voting days to help keep everyone safe, because schools are used as voting places open to the public.
 
Only the 2027–2028 calendar options are different because it's not an election year.

Many factors are taken into account when creating the school year calendar, including mandated test days and federal holidays.
