📣 Parents—Did You Know?

• 🧥 Recess Happens in All Weather!
  Students go outside unless temperatures drop below -10°F. Please dress your child appropriately every day.
  
  
• 📞 Reporting Absences is Easy:
  Call our attendance line at (907) 742-3300, email us at alpenglowoffice@asdk12.org, or use the Q/ParentConnection app.
  
  
• ⏰ Student Supervision Begins:
  • Mondays at 8:45 AM
  • Tuesday–Friday at 7:45 AM
    Students may go directly to their classrooms at these times.
    Instruction Start Times: 9:00 AM (Mon), 8:00 AM (Tues–Fri)
    
    
• 🔒 School Safety:
  Doors remain locked during school hours. Press the “front office desk” buzzer firmly to request entry.
  
  
• 🪪 Picking Up Your Child Early?
  Bring a photo ID. Only primary or emergency contacts may pick up unless verbally authorized by a primary contact on a case-by-case basis.
  
  
• 🕑 Pick-Up Changes?
  Notify the office by 2:00 PM to ensure your student is informed.
  
  
• 🏫 Campus Access:
  School grounds are closed to the public from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Students must leave campus promptly after school and may return after 3:00 PM.
