New or Returning ASD Students

  • Students who have never attended the Anchorage School District (ASD), or are not currently enrolled at least part time in ASD, will need to complete an ASD Enrollment Packet once they have been accepted into the school. Completed enrollment packets may be emailed to AMCS@asdk12.org. Once you have emailed your enrollment packet, you have completed the enrollment process.

ASD Enrollment Packet

  • Students who are enrolled at least part-time with ASD will be transferred to AMCS once accepted into the school.  AMCS will become their home school. 

    Once the student's record has been transferred to AMCS, the Parent or Guardian may complete the Online Registration process in ParentConnection.  The window for Online Registration is April 30-June 29 and July 9– Aug 24. If your child’s record shows them returning to their same school, you can still complete the Online Registration process. We are updating the student records as they are accepted, and this is an ongoing process.
