Department Overview

  • ASD’s Development & Grants Department coordinates the development of competitive (“discretionary”) grants to improve the quality of instruction and support services, and to support district core values, priorities, and commitments. Grants bring in external funding to augment resources from the general fund and from entitlement grants. A majority of the grants produced by the department are for major district-level grants and it also provides assistance to staff from schools and programs in researching and writing grants of a smaller scope.
