Required Training for Employees

The Anchorage School District uses an A and B year schedule for required trainings. Some trainings are required annually (both A and B years), and some trainings are required bi-annually (only year A or only year B). 

Employees are automatically enrolled in the appropriate Canvas course whether they are new or returning, and whether they are a certified or classified employee. Employees should use the appropriate required trainings guide to determine which Canvas modules they are required to complete for their specific job role(s).
